CompanyOp
Best ERP system in Zambia
Lusaka lenders and traders still stitch Excel, a till, and a microfinance core that never talks to payroll. CompanyOp is aimed at that gap: Loan Management and employer deductions for credit houses, plus ordinary accounting and POS for the trading companies that sit around the Copperbelt.
Local fit
Kwacha is a supported company currency. Microfinance teams can originate and collect in one app and, where employers remit at source, use Payroll Deductions. ZRA Smart Invoice / invoicing rules are not claimed as a built-in fiscal device pack the way Zimbabwe FDMS is—treat CompanyOp as the operations system of record.
MFIs, SACCOs evaluating a modern loan book, and SMEs that want kwacha books without an on-prem Odoo project.

Questions people ask
Can a Zambian microfinance use CompanyOp instead of a specialist core?
If you need origination, disbursement, repayments, and collections in one licensed app, yes. Heavy core-banking or credit-reference bureau adapters are out of scope unless you integrate them.
Does it submit to ZRA invoicing for us?
CompanyOp is not marketed as a ZRA Smart Invoice device. Use accounting and POS for operational invoices; keep ZRA technical compliance with certified channels.
How is this different from ERPNext in Lusaka?
ERPNext is a self-hosted Frappe stack. CompanyOp is multi-tenant SaaS: you license apps, you do not become the sysadmin for a Frappe bench.
